There are several signs that your instrument cluster may need to be repaired:

Dead or dim lights: If the lights on your instrument cluster are not functioning properly, it could be a sign that the cluster needs to be repaired.

Inaccurate gauges: If the gauges on your instrument cluster are not reading correctly, it could be a sign that there is a problem with the cluster.

Error messages: If your instrument cluster is displaying error messages or warning lights, it could be an indication that there is a problem that needs to be addressed.

Intermittent issues: If the issue with your instrument cluster is not consistent and occurs only occasionally, it could be a sign that the cluster needs to be repaired.

Total failure: If your instrument cluster stops working completely, it will need to be repaired or replaced.

If you are experiencing any of these issues with your instrument cluster, it is important to have it repaired as soon as possible to ensure the safety and reliability of your vehicle.
In some cases, an instrument cluster may need to be programmed after it has been replaced or repaired. This is typically necessary when the cluster has been significantly disassembled or if it has been replaced with a new or used cluster.

The programming process may involve linking the cluster to the vehicle's onboard computer and configuring it to work with the specific make and model of the vehicle.
It depends on the type of cluster you are purchasing. Prices range from $65- $100 per order

An instrument cluster is a collection of gauges, warning lights, and displays that are located on the dashboard of a vehicle. It provides the driver with important information about the vehicle's systems and performance. The specific components of an instrument cluster can vary depending on the make and model of the vehicle, but some common components include:

Speedometer: displays the current speed of the vehicle

Tachometer: displays the RPM of the engine

Fuel gauge: displays the level of fuel in the tank

Temperature gauge: displays the temperature of the engine

Oil pressure gauge: displays the pressure of the engine oil

Warning lights: alert the driver to potential issues with the vehicle, such as low oil pressure or a malfunctioning system

Odometer: displays the total distance traveled by the vehicle

Some instrument clusters may also include additional displays or features, such as a trip meter, a clock, or a display for the vehicle's audio system.
